Triple Adoption Celebration!

It is not every day a small rescue is lucky enough to get a triple adoption. In fact, in all the years our volunteers have been involved in animal advocacy, it is a first!

Binz, Mishka and Pickles (formerly Poe, Shadow and Midnight) came to Salty Paws when their Russian Blue Mother was abandoned with them at the tennis courts of a local Hilton Head Island Plantation. Although sweet, their shyness made it difficult for them to find homes. Not to mention, they were all black males, the hardest demographic to adopt. We had them for months, hoping on a wing and a prayer that they would some day find their furever homes. It is so hard to watch when kittens are passed over, time and time again.

Then! A ray of sunshine appeared. A compassionate couple from Summerville, SC stunned us all by opening their home and hearts to all three boys. They could see not only their potential, but the comfort they derived from each other, which would help them adjust in their new home. But mostly, they just could not leave one behind.
